Italian SM 79. Torpedo bomber. The “Green Goose”. “Acquired’ as they say, or “cliftied it” (Australian slang, just taking something any way you can get it). From the British at Castle Benito Airport by CO Bill “Benny” Benedict and crew, now property of the 66th Fighter Squadron.
