Sea Owl 31-36

Signal flags flying - Something will happen soon.

Entering Boston Harbor.
Just before reaching the Panama Canal, it was announced the Japanese had surrendered. The Sea Owl turned and headed northeast, arriving in Boston Harbor, with its jubilant passengers on August 18th, 1945.

Welcome escort.

We are ready to offload and head to Camp Miles Standish for final processing - so good-bye!

This compilation was a production of James "Rabbit" Hare, son J.C. Hare, Son-In-Law Mark R. Green, with the assistance of multiple martinis.
