JU-88 flown to Africa by Rumanian defector, Allied markings added by British Camouflage unit, and Americans of the 26th Air Depot Group. 9th AAF overhauled engines for trans-atlantic flight to the USA.


Same JU-88, flown across the Atlantic, currently resides at WPAFB Museum, which is now called the “National Museum Of The United States Air Force”.
